The service
GarageJot is a vehicle maintenance logbook. It is free to use.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter — vehicle details, service records, odometer readings, and anything else you log. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction, and have the authority to log maintenance for the vehicles you add (for example, as an owner or authorized operator).
AI suggestions are a second opinion, not a diagnosis
GarageJot's AI-assisted suggestions feature looks at your own service history and offers informational suggestions about what might be worth checking next. It is a diagnostic helper, not a mechanic — it never issues a diagnosis, and it never tells you to skip a repair.
AI suggestions are informational only and are not a substitute for professional mechanical diagnosis. GarageJot is not liable for decisions made based on AI suggestions.
Always confirm with a qualified mechanic before acting on an AI suggestion or making repair decisions.
No warranty
GarageJot is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account for abuse of the service. You may stop using GarageJot at any time and request deletion of your account and data by emailing us — whole-account deletion is currently handled as a manual request rather than a self-service button; see our Privacy Policy for details.

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, when the change is significant, notify you by email.
